Before he left, he had a steady stream of friends coming by to say good-bye. On Micah's behalf, I want to thank all of you for the influence that you have had in his life. He has had some really great friends over the years and as a parent it really means a lot to have good friends in your children's lives. Thank you for your support....for coming to his farewell, for hanging out with him, and for stopping by to say good-bye. It meant a lot to both of us!! Here are some pic.'s of some of you who came by. Sorry I didn't get all of you!!

Saying Good-bye
Well...Micah entered the MTC on Wednesday. He wanted a cheerful brunch, with no tears, and we did our best to oblige. He was so smiley and happy all morning. He just couldn't wait to "get the show on the road." At the end of the new missionary presentation, Micah said, "K, well, see ya" and he stood up to leave. He wanted good-byes to be quick and, again, tearless. We hugged and he was the first missionary out of the room. It made it a lot easier for the family knowing that he was anxious to get started, that he was prepared and that he wanted to be there.

Alright, just a few things... Doesn't Micah look so dashing in his suit and glasses!? Yes, the name tag helps. Also, Julie is engaged!!! I'm so happy to hear this news! You must tell her congrats for me the next time you see her. And this blog idea is splendid! I hope you have gotten some good letters from him so far.
