Hola from SOAKING WET Patzicia!

Hola Familia,

Hey hows it going? Wow, Thanks a million for all of the emails! You´re all so awesome, and I´m more than happy to get as much advice and knowledge from you all as possible! Ýou´re all just so smart, teach me stuff! Send me your testimonies! I really appreciate everything that you all are doing for me, even though you´re kinda far away right now!

Christopher, Thanks a million for the email. You´re awesome and I´m way excited to hear about all of the stuff that´s going on. Just the little details are what matters the most! I love that. Keep on the look out for the girls! haha Ok, so this is probably going to be annoying, but LEARN from Sister Wise. LEARN from Brother Perkins. I´m not even kidding, take a pad and paper and take notes. THAT is my best advice, LEARN EVERYTHING you can about the gospel, ESPECIALLY Chapter 3 of Preach My Gospel. People told me that before my mission, and I always thought, oh of course i´ll study a little bit... haha I didn´t know enough. I still don´t. STUDY! LEARN IT! The thing is you won´t understand until you´re here in your mission... It´s ok, keep doing what you´re doing, and make good decisions, you´ll be great for your mission. Start planning now though, there isn´t ANYTHING better you could do with your life. Stop getting so tall and strong, I´m getting a little scared to come home! haha

Tanner, What´s going on? How´s life? I just want to tell you that I love you man. Use all the advice I gave to Christopher, Seriously. DOn´t worry about what other people think of you! Just be yourself and love life. Ok, sorry I´m just full of weird advice today, I´m not sure why! Just know I love you all so much.

I have been learning SO much lately! I have so many different things I want to tell you, but I know i´m not going to have time to tell you everything. I´ve had my troubles, challenges, struggles, and just plain hard times. I´ve also had some of the best times ever, just walking through the streets of Patzicia, teaching people and learning from their examples. I love it so much.

One of my biggest struggles right now is being "Exactly Obedient" without being a robot. I want to be obedient with EVERYTHING I have, but sometimes it´s hard to just be myself. It´s not worth it to break the rules and not have the spirit. If anyone has any advice on that one, you´ll definitely have to let me know.

Right now we have a bunch of families who right now are preparing referrals to give us. I feel like we´ve worked really hard to get the trust of the members, and it´s slowly but surely starting to pay off. The members are saying, "Oh hey, so there is this one family...." and "If you need anything, I want to come out and work with you!" and things along those lines. It´s been really exciting to see the progress here. Right now we still don´t have too many people to teach, but I´m really looking forward to what the Lord has on the way.

So, Right now it´s POURING rain here in Patzicia. When it rains the streets start to turn into rivers, and it´s nearly impossible to stay dry. Elder Cano and I have had wayy too much fun in the rain. Like I say, this area is a little bit harder, but we´re finding ways to enjoy it.

I received my package on Thursday at Zone Conference. Thanks a million, It´s been awesome having a little bit of snack food around, you all know exactly what I like. I got my shoes and they are working great! They seem a lot tougher than my other shoes, we´ll see what happens.

I just want to tell you all that I love you so much. I just want to say thanks a million for EVERYTHING that you all have done for me. I am NOTHING without all of you, and i´m so thankful to have my family. We´ve been teaching a lesson to all the members about the Mansions we will be able to receive in Heaven if we are faithful, and that how we will be able to live with our families forever(It´s a GREAT lesson to get referrals!). I´ve really felt the power of that part of the doctrine, and I´m so thankful that if we are faithful we will be able to live together forever! Ha, Oh Ricky, I´m sorry but the late night fun fests are just NEVER going to end! haha Love you all so much, thanks for everything you do.


Well, my time is up on the computer. The next time we write I will know who my next companion is and everything. Keep prayers in your hearts and we´ll see what happens! I love everything about my mission... Even the hard times. Thats when the real learning begins.
